Daryl K. James
Daryl James has been practicing family law exclusively since 1986, negotiating and litigating divorce, post-divorce, child custody and support cases.
He is a current board member and past President of the Boulder Interdisciplinary Committee, a professional organization committed to assisting children and parents in divorcing families, and was a past co-chair of the Family Law section of the Boulder County Bar Association.

Johanna Urman, Associate
Johanna Urman is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law. She was first introduced to the practice of family law as a student attorney in the American Indian Law Clinic where she represented clients in Indian Child Welfare Act cases.
In law school Johanna was active in starting student groups and interested in the Boulder Start-up scene. Upon graduating, she worked for several Boulder-based start-ups and practiced entrepreneurial law, including corporate securities law for small reporting companies before switching to the practice of family law. Ariel Williams, Associate
Ariel Williams is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law. Ms. Williams is a compassionate and driven family law attorney. She understands that people are often contacting a family law attorney at one of the most stressful, tumultuous times in their lives, and she is committed to making sure all of her clients have an excellent attorney at their side as they navigate the legal system. Ms. Williams is committed to making sure her clients understand their options at every step of their case.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Williams obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of California Los Angeles. During her undergraduate studies, she volunteered at a family law legal aid clinic in downtown Los Angeles. Lisa Podhajsky has an AAS degree in Paralegal Studies, specializing in family law, and has worked as a paralegal for many years. She has worked for various Boulder County attorneys specializing in diverse areas of law and the 20th Judicial District in Domestic and Civil divisions. Lisa was previously an internship coordinator at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill helping undergraduate and first year law students focus on their future careers as attorneys
